It is an adhesive type Hot-Melt (insoluble
in water) in powdered used to give bigger adherence
to the Plastisol transfers, especially when they are
transferred on polyamide, polyester or other synthetic
fibers.
This Co polyamide can also be used to increase the solidity
to the laundry in the transfers with foil (polyester
film) and flock.
If the size of the particle of the co
polyamide is fine it can be incorporated directly to
the Plastisol ink, in this case use meshes from 24 to
31 threads/cm monofilament.
When the size of particle of the co polyamide
is thick it should be added sprinkling on the humid
Plastisol, moving away the rest before being sub-cured.
If it is added to the Plastisol directly
to make it in a percentage from the 10 to 20% with regard
to the weight of ink, the percentage will depend on
the solidity that we want to achieve.
The use of the co polyamide can give
bigger hardness to the transfer.
This co polyamide has a coalition point of around 135°C,
for this reason when we transfer we can make it to a
temperature more lower than the transference temperature
that it is approximately from 185°C to 195°C.
