The thickening substance are products
that added to the ink in lower agitation, they increase
the viscosity of the same one.
There are different types according to their use:
The thickening substance ACR, is an acrylic thickening
substance.
Whitish liquid of lightly sour scent.
This is adapted to thicken inks of watery base (white
super-covering, covering bases, etc.).
One can add between 0,5% and 1% in continuous low agitation
and with an alkaline PH.
We recommend to add little by little because due to
its high concentration, a small coarse quantity to achieve
the prospective result, if it is exceeded in the quantity,
the ink will thicken so much that it will be impossible
its impression.
U Thickening substance, it is a thickening synthetic
substance.
Viscous and of a color amber, with scent to ammonia.
Capable to thicken all type of ink of watery base.
Add between 0,5% and 1% on the total weight of ink,
make it in a constant low agitation.
Have a lot of cautions and add it slowly, in excess
will make impossible the impression.
Capable for the elaboration of Extending or Coupure.
